Ordering & Shipping

  • How long does shipping take?

Express orders within the same state are typically delivered within 1-2+ business days and 1-3+ business days for interstate orders.

  • How much does shipping cost?

The shipping cost is a flat $15 for express postage. If your order is over the $85 threshold, shipping is free.

  • When will my order be sent?

All orders are posted on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays (cutoff time: 1 pm) to ensure your order arrives within the week. Any orders made after the cutoff time are posted the following week.

  • Do you ship live plants and livestock Australia-wide?

We ship to all states with the exception of NT, WA and TAS due to biosecurity laws.

  • What happens if my order arrives late or damaged?

Please note that all deliveries may be subject to delay due to carrier issues. If your plants/livestock arrive damaged or dead, please contact us within 24 hours with clear photos so that we may issue you a refund.

Live Arrival Guarantee & Refunds

  • What is your Live Arrival Guarantee?

If your plants or livestock are DOA – dead on arrival, we will refund you the cost of the dead/damaged stock if you contact us with photos.

  • Do you accept returns on live plants or animals?

We cannot accept returns for live goods due to the possibility of disease or pests. 

  • How do I request a refund or replacement?

You can request a refund by contacting us with your order number at thehobbyaquaristroselands@gmail.com – we aim to reply within 1-2 days.

Payments & Orders

  • Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

If you wish to modify or cancel your order after it has been confirmed. Please submit an enquiry via the contact form and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Please note that we cannot modify or cancel your order after it has been posted.

  • Do you offer local pickup?

Yes, we offer free local pickup at 1212 Canterbury Rd, Roselands, NSW 2196.

We are open by appointment as we are not a physical store. Contact us via email or mobile to schedule a pickup time.
