Hornwort is an aquatic plant, typically free-floating and rootless, with dense whorls of dark green, forked leaves that have a "horn-like" appearance.
Beginner-friendly: Resilient, adaptable and low-maintenance, making it popular for outdoor ponds as well as aquariums
Rapid growth: Grows quickly, absorbing excess nutrients (e.g. nitrates) from the water and providing shelter for fry and small fish
